REVIEW: Fairest by Marissa Meyer
It's hard to rate this book. The story was good, it was intriguing, captivating. Interesting to get caught up in the villain's life, in their crazy thoughts and actions. It was disturbing. It made me understand Levanna more, but did not justify her actions. She's still crazy, but her story is also a sad one.
Also, (slight spoiler) manipulating someone's mind and feelings so they will have sex with you, that's rape.
I wonder if it would have been better to read before Winter. I would've understood where she came from, who the dad was they talked about. I'm curious if I'll find out new things or understand then better if i would read Winter again now.
I would recommend it, if only to show that everyone has their own story, and not everyone's story justifies their behaviour.
It was a good book, but it didn't make me feel happy.
